The fact that they double charged us and acted like their hands were tied and they did all they could do was beyond unacceptable! The way this was handled was so unprofessional. No apologies were made and no effort was made by her to offset this problem. My husband made it very clear to Brittany that the funds they tied up were supposed to pay for our next hotel and unless we had the funds reversed immediately we had no way of paying for the rest of our vacation and that means our family vacation was ruined. The credit card company insisted that they never received anything from her. She promised time after time that she did all she could do to have the charges reversed. My husband went down to the lobby the following morning to work it out and was told he needed to talk with the GM, Brittany. So we try to work this out in the lobby but the person there was so rude and wouldn't even hear what we were saying. About an hour later our credit card company notified us that they charged the original card a few hours before we arrived and they also charged the one we provided at the time we checked in. We arrived about 10 or 10:30 and paid with another credit card. They of course assured us we had no worries as long as we arrive by midnight. We checked in on a Tuesday night but before we arrived we called to make sure they weren't going to charge the card we reserved the hotel on because we decided to pay with a different card. By far this is the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
